I am a graduate of Crafton Elementary School and 1997 graduate of Carlynton High School. I resided in Crafton for 28 years prior to moving just outside the borough. I attended the Community College Beaver County Police Academy in 2007 before being hired into the City of Pittsburgh Police Academy. I spent approximately 3 years with the City of Pittsburgh. I won the academic award for my academy class and was assigned to Zone 2 after graduating, which is in the Hill District and also covers downtown Pittsburgh. In 2009, I was transferred to Zone 3 in the Allentown neighborhood, where I worked for almost two years. I also spent ten weeks in a rotation with the Street Response Unit, which was a proactive city wide assignment. The City of Pittsburgh was the only place I worked as a Police Officer prior to starting with Crafton.
